THE WHARF ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR 5TH ANNUAL "FOURTH AT THE WHARF"

The Wharf is proud to announce it line-up for the 5th annual “Fourth at The Wharf” celebration. Headlining as part of the Pepsi Star Concert Series will be July 4th favorites Montgomery Gentry with special guests James Otto and Easton Corbin. Showtime is 8:00 pm.

The Wharf is also pleased to announce our local Subway® restaurants in South Alabama and Northwest Florida as the title sponsor for the 2010 Subway® Fireworks Spectacular. The fireworks display will begin after Montgomery Gentry’s performance.

“The Fourth of July fireworks are provided by support from Subway's regional owners” said Peter Bryan, General Manager of The Amphitheater at The Wharf. “We are currently working with the Subway® Mobile-Pensacola market which consists of 121 locally owned Subway restaurants along the Alabama-Florida Gulf Coast and Southwest Alabama to put together a special promotion for Subway customers to purchase discount tickets to our annual Fourth at The Wharf concert with Montgomery Gentry. We plan to announce this promotion by the beginning of May and could not be more excited about our partnership with Subway.”

The Subway sponsorship also includes the SUBWAY® Rocket Kids Fun Run held in conjunction with the Baptist Health Care & Andrews Institute Stars & Stripes 5K Run benefiting the Make-a-Wish Foundation. This 5K and the associated children’s Fun Run take place on July 4th and are part of the Fourth at The Wharf festivities.
